This is a nice selection of ten songs to increase your variety of play while studying piano with Alfred's Basic Adult Piano Course Level Two. This is not meant to be a comprehensive book of songs from which you can play for a gathering. The songs here are chosen and arranged so that you have something extra to play that coincides with the material you are studying in the course book. It helps to keep things interesting, rather than just playing the songs in the course book over and over to learn the current set of lessons.I've found the Alfred's piano course, and the associated extra song books, to be a very strong method for learning to play the piano. I had lessons as a teen, so I did have something to build on. With that long ago foundation to help, I move quickly through these lessons.I highly recommend all the Alfred's materials. They are effective, both from an instructional and cost standpoint.
