Reviews
This 2011 publication is a first-rate Klee book, one of the best currently in print. The writing is one of the most detailed and well-written biographies of the painter I've ever read. The color plates are well-chosen and offer a large number of works not seen in print before, including a fair selection of his childhood and adolescent works. As always with the publisher Prestel, the book is of first-rate quality in all aspects. One of the best Klee books on my bookshelf.
